We are responsible for the personal data we collect when you use our website or our services. You can contact us about anything in this policy at [email protected].
2. What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, our services, and any communication you have with us. It should be read together with our Client Service Agreement.
3. What we collect
To provide our service we need to collect personal data about you and about the people you name in your will. This typically includes:

- Identity documents, such as passports, Emirates IDs and visas
- Details of your family and of the people you wish to name in your will
- Information about your assets, to the extent needed for your will
- The instructions you give us on our intake form and in the WhatsApp group we open for your matter
- Payment details, which are handled by our payment provider and not stored by us. Nothing is charged until you approve your draft
- Information about how you use our website, such as pages visited and device type
Where you give us information about another person, you confirm that you are entitled to do so.
4. How we use it
We use your personal data to:
- Provide our service, including coordinating the drafting, translation and registration of your will
- Communicate with you about your matter
- Take payment and keep our accounts
- Meet our legal and regulatory obligations
- Improve our service and our website
- Send you information about our services where you have agreed to receive it
We only use your data for these purposes or for purposes closely related to them.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal data only where it is needed to provide our service or where the law requires it. This includes:
- The Partner Law Firm that reviews your will
- Certified translators, where your registry requires translation
- Service providers who support our operations, such as those providing our IT systems, communications tools and payment processing
- Government bodies, courts and regulators, where we are required to do so
We do not sell your personal data.
6. Where your data is held
Some of the providers who support our operations are located outside the UAE. Where your data is processed outside the UAE we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected to a standard consistent with UAE law. By using our service you consent to this.
7. How we protect it
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, and we limit access to those who need it to do their work. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information you send to us over the internet.
8. How long we keep it
We keep your personal data for as long as needed to provide our service, resolve any questions about it, and meet our legal obligations. Because a will is a long-term document, we may retain records relating to your matter for a number of years after registration. We delete or anonymise data when it is no longer needed.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:
- Tell you what personal data we hold about you and provide a copy
- Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Delete data we no longer need to keep
- Stop using your data for marketing
- Withdraw consent you have given, which may mean we are unable to continue your matter
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We may ask you to verify your identity before responding.
10. Website and cookies
Our website uses cookies and similar tools to make it work, to understand how it is used, and to support our marketing. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work properly without them.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website, and the date at the top tells you when it was last changed.
12. Contact
